Glass Book Reader — Support

Glass Book Reader reads your DRM-free EPUB, text PDF and TXT books aloud with the voices built into iOS, and shows the previous, current and next line on Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with the spoken words highlighted.

Getting started

1. Library → + to import a book, or try the built-in sample.
2. Open the book and tap Play. The first time, the app asks which audio output it will use.
3. With Meta glasses: Play connects the glasses by itself. Meta AI opens once so you can allow Glass Book Reader; after that, reading continues automatically.

Controls

• On the phone: play/pause, previous and next sentence, chapters, speed and voice in Settings.
• From headphones, AirPods or the glasses touchpad: the standard media controls — play/pause, next and previous (one page forward or back).
• On the glasses: tap the reading view to pause; the paused menu offers Continue, Previous, Next and Exit.

Common questions

The glasses need an update. If the app says the app on your glasses needs an update, tap Open Meta AI to update, update it in Meta AI, then come back; Glass Book Reader reconnects by itself.

Reading stopped by itself. Open the app again without swiping it away, go to Devices → Copy session log, and send the text to the address below. The log contains no book text.

Chinese voices highlight phrases, not words. Some system voices report positions per phrase; the app shows a notice when this happens. Try another voice in Settings → Voice.

Books imported before a text-handling fix still look joined. Delete the book and import it again.

Glass Book Reader 用 iOS 自带语音朗读你的无 DRM EPUB、文字版 PDF 和 TXT 电子书，并在 Meta Ray-Ban Display 眼镜上显示上一行、当前行和下一行，高亮正在朗读的词。

开始使用

1. 书库 → + 导入书籍，或先试内置示例。
2. 打开书，点播放。第一次会询问使用哪个声音输出设备。
3. 使用 Meta 眼镜：点播放会自动连接眼镜。首次会打开 Meta AI 让你授权 Glass Book Reader 一次，之后自动继续朗读。

控制方式

• 手机上：播放/暂停、上一句/下一句、章节；语速和语音在“设置”里。
• 耳机、AirPods 或眼镜触控板：标准媒体控制——播放/暂停、下一个/上一个（向前或向后翻一页）。
• 眼镜上：点一下阅读画面即暂停；暂停菜单提供继续、上一句、下一句和退出。

常见问题

提示眼镜需要更新。点“打开 Meta AI 进行更新”，在 Meta AI 中完成更新后回到应用，Glass Book Reader 会自动重新连接。

朗读自己停了。不要把应用划掉，直接重新打开，进入“设备”→“复制会话日志”，把文本发到下方邮箱。日志不含书的内容。

中文语音按短语高亮，不是按词。部分系统语音只报告短语位置，应用会显示提示。可在“设置 → 语音”里换一个语音。

早先导入的书仍然把行粘在一起。删除该书后重新导入即可。
